Seville is the artistic, cultural, and financial capital of southern Spain. It is the capital of the autonomous community of Andalusia and of the province of Seville. It is situated on the plain of the River Guadalquivir. The inhabitants of the city are known as Sevillanos (feminine form: Sevillanas) or Hispalenses. It is the fourth largest city of Spain. Seville certainly is one of the most beloved places by visitors to Spain. Whether you like music, dancing, theatre, folklore or just letting your hair down, Seville has it all!
Our presentation
Our school is named "Arias Montano" who was a famous Spanish orientalist and editor of the Antwerp Polyglot (1527-1598). It is an ancient and classic building that once was used as a hospital. It is very close to the historic and artistic center of Seville, in the charming and beautiful district of the Macarena. Our classes are very spacious and we have Andalusian patios at school with many plants that we love caring.
This year we 've become a bilingual school and children ( 3 to 12 years old) will be happy to hear from you all.

Come and take a look at one of our special celebrations!
"Andalucia Day."
Andalucía is in the south of Spain. The "Andalucia Day” is celebrated February 28.
Commemorates the February 28, 1980 referendum on the Statute of Autonomy of Andalucia. So, What is Andalucia?
Andalucia is the "mother" of the Spanish folklore which is probably best known abroad. Andalucia is one of the sunniest and warmest places in Europe.
Andalucia has a rich culture which includes monuments, art, music, traditions…
How do we celebrate this Tradition?
At school we have fun by learning about our culture, art, tradititions,gastronomy...
This year we learnt about great artists who were born in Andalucia.
As you know ,Andalucía was the birthplace of such great painters as Velázquez and Murillo (Seville) and, more recently, Picasso (Málaga), so we thought it was a good idea to learn through art.
As a result we made an art gallery And, as we are also artists, we made our own artworks.
Other traditions
Christmas, Falll, Carnival, Easter ... Festivals which are being held all over the world and we celebrate in our own way.
Common traditions
Easter eggs
